Agriculture at Farmer Frog

Cultivating Knowledge, Nourishing Communities
At Farmer Frog, we honor the wisdom and practices of Indigenous Peoples and recognize the deep respect and reverence they inspire. Guided by the principles of Agroecology, we approach each farm, project, and educational initiative with care, flexibility, and a commitment to ecological harmony. Our farming methods integrate with surrounding ecosystems, using wild farming and conservation agriculture to produce nutritious food while preserving habitat for wildlife.
At Our Farms
Our farms are living classrooms and community hubs where people of all ages come to learn, grow, and connect. Whether it’s through school field trips, workforce training, or volunteer opportunities, we offer hands-on experiences that bring agricultural education to life.

At our farms, you’ll find:
– Aquaponics greenhouses where fish and plants grow in harmony
– Food Forests supporting biodiversity and perennial food production
– Livestock areas for humane animal care and education
– Demonstration plots showcasing regenerative techniques
– Outdoor classrooms and community spaces for workshops and gatherings
These spaces are designed to inspire curiosity, foster collaboration, and cultivate the next generation of food system leaders.
Farmer Frog is dedicated to advancing agricultural education and workforce development through hands-on learning and innovative practices. Our programs empower students, educators, and community members to engage with sustainable food systems and explore careers in agriculture, aquaponics, and environmental stewardship.

Honoring Our Roots at Paradise Farm
Farmer Frog’s original home was Paradise Farm, located on the historic Lloyd Estate in the Paradise Valley Conservation Area of Woodinville, Washington. This sacred Coastal Salish land (Snoqualmie, Duwamish) has a rich legacy dating back to the 1870s.
At Paradise Farm, we:
– Created an education center showcasing sustainable farming and ecosystem stewardship
– Demonstrated traditional regenerative practices alongside modern smart technologies
– Offered agricultural heritage displays to connect past and future food systems
Though our lease at Paradise Farm ended in February 2023, its legacy continues to inspire our work and mission in new spaces.

Join Us in Growing a Better Future
At Farmer Frog, we believe that cultivating food is also about cultivating hope, resilience, and connection. As we continue to grow with our communities, we invite you to be part of this journey—whether by learning, volunteering, partnering, or simply sharing in the harvest. Together, we can nourish both people and the planet, one seed at a time.
