The vegetable gardening class of 2010 started a handful of raised beds.
Student farmers and a team from Farmer Frog built out and currently manage the Campus Community Farm at Edmonds Community College. The farm, which provides the entire campus with an outdoor classroom and hands-on learning opportunities, has a large hoop house, several grow beds, fruit trees and shrubs, and an edible rain garden. We use the space to demonstrate innovative yet affordable urban growing methods, including a green roof. The farm shares some of its crops with students and sells some at local farmers markets to generate funding for seeds.
