Summer Camp: Learn, play and make friends

Summer Camp (Ages 8-12) is available from July 20 to July 24 in the morning 9 am to noon and July 27 to 31 in the afternoon 1 pm to 4 pm, for ages 8 – 12. Sibling discounts can be prearranged.

Children enrolled will:

Work with our urban farmer educators to learn about:

  • farm animals;
  • bees and insects;
  • fish and aquaponics;
  • seeds, soils and planting gardens;
  • wildlife, tracking, monitoring and forests;

Each class will begin with stretching and going over the Farm Rules. At the end of the sessions the students will be asked to create a reflection art piece, using any medium their choice: poem, story, dance, movement, drawing, song, they will have many options.

They will learn how-tos and whys as they explore the farm life based on a STEM/STEAM focused approach and hands-on experiences. We ask that each child will bring a mask, work gloves, wear closed toe shoes, dress for the weather in layers and have a refillable water bottle. Farmer Frog will provide them with a healthy snack at the midpoint of the class.

Weekly session: $250 per child.

Sibling discounts are available, if 2 or more children for a family $225 per child.
