Farmer Frog leases 2.7 acres in the Lake Hills area from the city of Bellevue, Washington. We broke ground on April 15, 2015 and are creating an edible forest garden with many fruit trees and shrubs. Alongside the trees and shrubs, we grow vegetables. We rotate annual plantings and are establishing a crop system able to last and produce for centuries to come.
Harvest from the site provides fresh, affordable, sustainably grown local food. We use the food for our Good Food Treasure Box program, sell it at farmers markets, and distribute it to people who help at the farm, including children from local schools.
