Food and cooking are not only Chef Ron Askew’s life-long profession but his hobby and passion too. He is the School Garden Founder and Administrator at Forest Ridge School of the Sacred Heart in Bellevue, Washington, where students are actively involved in every phase of the garden including planning, planting, harvesting, preparation, cooking, and service to the community of Forest Ridge. For over a decade, he has been busy preparing wholesome meals from local suppliers for the Forest Ridge community.
Chef Ron is excited to share his love and experience of wholesome food preparation and food literacy with Farmer Frog for many years to come.
Ron and his wife Vicki love fishing in Southeast Alaska each summer and gardening at their community P-Patch at 21 Acres Farm in Woodinville, Washington.
